Doug Ducey,AZ Governor & media madness!!!
CBS,NBC,ABC,CNS,AZ REPUGNANT ALL started out budget agreement as a big huge lie!!!! Below is how ALL the Arizona media headlined the signed budget stating that K-12 school funding is essentially flat. Are they so stupid that they decide not to read the budget or so devious that they want to lie to the un-informed in Arizona?!?
Ducey signs $9.1B state budget plan that cuts spending

More poetry for Christmas! :-)
’Twas the night before Cliff-mas, and all through the House
Not a member was working, no ideal to espouse;
Their offices closed, the members all gone,
No solution for a budget plan had yet to be drawn.
Our Congress had spent a year feuding again,
While uncertainty and poor growth plagued businessmen;
The economy had slowed, unemployment was high,
Things weren’t looking up for a taxpayer, like I.
On December 31st tax rates were scheduled to rise,
Which many agreed was not in itself wise.
With this, another date caught the country’s fiscal fixation—
The second of January was set for across-the-board sequestration.
I’d heard all the talk, all the senators saying,
“If we’re spending this much, someone has to be paying!”
The rhetoric from the news droned on in my head,
As I turned off my light, and crawled into bed.
When out on the Mall there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
It was the President! His sudden arrival was thrilling,
He went after the Congress, he called them by building:
“Now, Senate! Now, Hart! Now, Russell and Dirksen!
On House! on Rayburn! on, Longworth and Cannon!
The fiscal cliff is approaching! We need to make cuts!
Bad policy and spending got us into this rut!”
Out came the lawmakers, their cheeks from sleep rosy,
I saw Boehner, Reid, McConnell and Pelosi;
They gathered together, their eyes straight ahead,
Some seemed optimistic, as the president said:
“We need to end this uncertainty, if we are to stay strong,
I know we can do it, if we all get along.
We won’t hurt the middle class, we’ll raise taxes on the wealthy!
It’s right for everyone to pay a fair share to keep our economy healthy!”
Reid stepped up as well, his voice rather hoarse,
“We know that we need to include a few cuts, of course.
This deficit spending hurts our economy in the long-run,
But for now, raising some taxes will help everyone!”
“Now hold on one minute,” Boehner said with a sigh,
“You know the tax increase you propose is too high!
The wealthy you speak of—they aren’t you and me;
They’re middle-class, and small business owners you see!”
“You won’t close the tax loopholes, you won’t lower our debt!
You’ll create a situation where new investors will sweat!
We need tax reform, to resolve all this clutter!”
He stepped back with a nod—the crowd started to mutter.
Was he right? Was it true? Could reform solve it all?
Or would a tax hike spur investment and keep us from a fall?
It was the same talk I’d heard, the same from before—
So I ran down the stairs, and I opened the door:
“You say you’ll manage the tax code, and cut wasteful spending,
But it’s these political struggles that keep our economy pending!
We need real reform, not this spending obsession;
‘Else this cliff should put us in another recession!”
The lawmakers started, they had not known I was there;
And they sputtered and scattered and ran without care;
I watched them go and yelled after them, as they took flight:
“Avoid the fiscal cliff for all, and to YOU a good-night!”

Newt vs Romney
I just don't get it, the Romney doubters believe Ginrich had a epiphany, became a Catholic and therefore all his transgressions against man, (women) are to be ignored in the world of politics. The Lord forgives but that does not make me trust him because God forgave him. God knows his heart but I can only base his honesty on past performance!
On the other hand,
1. a successful business man who does not screw around on his wife
2. does not live in Washington
3. is not rubbing elbows and cozying up to Washington insiders
4. is not advising or consulting (lobbying)politicians
5. is not being paid by politicians
6. is not a Washington insider and therefore owes no favors
7. has raised 5 boys, no dirt on any of them
8. his politecal views have evolved,(as many of us do)
9. so, Mitt Romney is a liar, not to be trusted but
10.LETS ALL TRUST NEWT BECAUSE HE HAD AN EPIPHANY!!

The Arizona repugnant News(?)paper!
We received a free copy of the leftist local newspaper. My mornings have been so much calmer since I stopped receiving it but my curiosity overcame my good judgment so I began reading. Beginning one of the most Holy Days of the year with the attitude that crept in on me after about 60 seconds of reading caused me to throw the offensive piece of propaganda aside, intending to use it to light our fireplace on "no burn" days.
I did not get very far into the front page article from the Associated Press to remember that this paper is not local at all! It is owned and operated by obscure figures in other parts of the country! Who the hell is the Ass. press and where do they reside?
Do those that run this paper realize that our population exploded to over 6.4 million and that the subscription to this paper has continually fallen over the years?
The cheering squad that wrote the following article have scrambled eggs for brains!
"……But there are some signs that circulation may have started to level off. At The New York Times, average weekday circulation in the six months ended March 31, 2010 was up slightly compared with the six-month period that ended Sept. 30, 2009. At The Arizona Republic, circulation in those two periods was up to 350,000, from 316,000. "
NOW THIS IS SPECIAL! 350,00 subscribers in a state that saw a significant rise in population, they can only find 350,000 lefties that enjoy their paper in a state with a population of 6.4 million!!!
Duh, now let’s see, in April of 2009, there were almost 390,000, minus 350,000, hmmm, that sounds like a drop of about 40,00 but then I did not go to an elitist college, so what do I know, right?
Phoenix New Times: Ray Stern, Tue., Apr. 28 2009 The Republic placed No. 10 with weekday circulation of 389,701.
FishBowl NY: Latest Newspaper Circ Numbers Show Ten Percent Drop
By Amanda Ernst on October 26, 2009:
New York Times: In the six-month period ending March 31,2010, the Audit Bureau of Circulations reported Sunday sales dropping 6.5 percent and weekday sales 8.7 percent compared with the same six-month period a year ago. The figures are based on reports filed by hundreds of individual papers.
By Staff, brandrepublic.com, 27 October 2009, 11:40AM: Hardest hit of all was the San Francisco Chronicle, the Hearst-owned title whose closure has long been threatened, saw its circulation plummet by 25.8% to 251,782 from 339,430 a year ago. It is half the size it was six years ago
I prefer getting my news from the internet, therefore assisting the fall of this foreign entity that took over a newspaper that once was local and conservative. I hope all of you will add to their eventual fall by cancelling your subscriptions in 2011. You will be surprised how much better each day will start without the constant barrage of propaganda and left leaning (so-called) news.
If this paper falls, maybe others will start a local paper that really reports news in an unbiased way.
I pray for a better new year for all of us (except the owners of the newspapers)!

Political Junkie!: T'was just before Christmas
Merry Christmas
T’was just before Christmas…When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying…Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police…had taken away,
The reason for Christmas…no one could say.
The children were told…by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men…and Angels and things.
It might hurt their feelings…the teachers would say
December 25th is…just a “Holiday”
Yet the shoppers were ready…with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down…to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X Box, and I-pod
Something was changing…something quite odd!
Retailers promoted…Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books…by Franken and Fonda.
As Target’s were hanging their trees…upside down
At Lowe’s the word “Christmas”…will get you a frown!
Inclusive, sensitive…Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used…to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, now Darden…Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather,…on Kerry and Clinton!
At the top of the Senate…there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus…in all public matter!
And we spoke not a word…as they took away faith
Forbidden to speak…of salvation and grace.
The true Gift of Christmas…was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season…was stopped before started
So as you celebrate “Winter Break”…under your tree
Sipping your Starbucks…please listen to me
Choose your words carefully…choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS to all…not happy holiday!
Please, all of you Christians…this is my wish
Everyone that you meet…say MERRY CHRISTMAS!
If you want to explain…as you go out the door
Jesus is the reason…for the season, for sure!

Scottsdale cop tells 68 year old speed skater she is a pedestrian!

Wednesday, November 24, the day before Thanksgiving, between 3 and 4 PM, a 68 year old woman, me, with all the safety gear is skating on a little used street, Legacy Blvd, (between Scottsdale Rd. and Hayden), first street North of the 101.
I have been practicing my skating on this little used section of road for more than a year!
Typically, there are 5 to 12 cars, either direction, an hour.

Unbelievably, on November 24th, officer Patrick Hinsberg is sitting in his car on Legacy Blvd., (a few cars an hour), waiting for a speeder!!!!! The freeway, (where all the speeders are), is just one block away but Officer Hinsberg is waiting for speeders on a little used piece of roadway that barely anyone is aware of, WAITING FOR A SPEEDING CAR!
INSTEAD (!), he spots a 68 year old woman, (OMG), skating on the road!!
Officer Hinsberg indicates to me to pull over (!) and informs me that I am a PEDESTRIAN! And belong on the sidewalk!
Me: There are no sidewalks!
Officer: You are breaking the law!
Me: I am not a pedestrian, I am a skater!
Officer: You cannot skate in the street!
Me: I am allowed to skate in the bike lane.
Officer: You are a pedestrian and you cannot skate in the street. There are reports of cars doing 80 miles and hour on this street.
Me: This is crazy, you are harassing me, what is your name? I am reporting this as harassment, there is no traffic on this street! I believe I am allowed to skate in the bike lane and will stay in it.
Officer: I do not care who you contact, you are a pedestrian and breaking the law.
Hands me his card and I skate away.
I told him that skaters had lobbied for rights to skate in the bike lane. (I did believe that was a statute but I skated in a 10K Saturday, 12-04 and the other skaters said as popularity declined, the lobbying ended, therefore, I was mistaken).
Never the less, as I understand the statutes, even a “pedestrian” is allowed in the bike lane if there are no sidewalks!

Is this officer going to stop the “runners” that also train on this quiet section of road?
There are no homes, commercial businesses, stop signs, driveways or intersections on this road, so who complained about fast cars? Nobody lives or works here!
My question is, am I at the very least, allowed in the bike lane on this beautiful, mostly deserted section of road?
If not, then you need to stake an officer there to stop the runners that also train on this road because they are in the bike lane and surely are pedestrians.
Is this good use of our taxes to have a cop sitting on a road like this and bothering pedestrians?
In my entire life, I have probably had occasion to interact with an officer maybe a dozen times.
In 2010, this is my second meeting with 3 Scottsdale officers and I must say, they all reflect the same attitude. Are they all under officer Rodbell’s jurisdiction? ( I think that is the proper spelling),.
I was involved in my first accident ever on the freeway early this year and a Phoenix officer’s attitude, friendliness and courtesy to myself and the offending driver were quite different than my two unfortunate occasions with Scottsdale police.
I have heard from others the same thing. One of my customers said the most friendly officers are in Chandler, but agreed , Phoenix officers were also very nice.

As you can see, this is a divided road, with wide bike lanes on each side, 2 lanes in each direction and a landscaped median!
I do hope that the Christmas season will mellow the attitude of Scottsdale officers and maybe they can practice smiling in the mirror and being more considerate of approaching those that are just living and enjoying life.
Merry Christmas,

No more AZ Repugnant!
This is the first morning of my adult life without a newspaper. I am going through withdrawals but will not succumb!!! Will not succumb!! will not succumb!! (I need a tranquilizer or a couple of glasses of Chardonnay to get through this tough period of my life!
I refuse to continue to support the stinking newspaper any longer. I have been subscribing for 47 years and finally, ENOUGH! I cannot deal with the large font of the front page above the fold anymore!
I have a special ad of ppaper available to cover up Benson's cartoons and I will not have to even catch a glimpse of his liberal slant! I have been doing this for many years. I also cover up POTUS pictures.
There is even a forum on the newspapers website for comment and so far the comments look more interesting than letters to idiot, incompetant editors! Wahoo! No Paper! (whoops, we wil get Sunday paper to wrap garbage and get fireplace started on no burn days).
Once all rational conservatives have dropped the AZ Repugnant, they will probably start charging for their website but hopefully by that time, there will be a real news media specifically for Arizona.
Maybe a real media will even vet potential politicians before they endorse them, i.e., potus and most recently, Doug Ducey!

Alliance Defense Fund
The ACLU is an EXTREMELY destructive force in my America. The Alliance Defense Fund is trying to fight this extreme organization!
If a Christian cross exists on "so called" government property, it harms NO-ONE! When the ACLU and those that support their agenda agree to remove every scrap of Christianity from our soil, you then have an agenda! Atheism is its own religion; non-religion is its own religion.
Christians do not demand that you embrace the Lord but non-religious entities, backed by the ACLU demand that He is not mentioned or evidenced anywhere in society.
I disagree VEHEMENTLY with non-religious types that churches are getting an entitlement by NOT paying taxes. So an entitlement becomes the “absence” of taxes! That is amazing! To my way of thinking, an entitlement occurs when the government is giving away my hard earned dollars. Not the absence of but the handing out! How can you call it an agenda when others are trying to remove something that exists? Symbols in our society (that have been in place for many, many years) are being removed because a tiny microcosm of society and the ACLU finds them offensive? When society is trying to shove “NEW” thinking into my life that is an “agenda”! When my America is attempting to cling to something that has been in existence for more than 200 years, I do not consider it an “agenda”!
Until the government took over our daily lives, churches were the “businesses” that helped the needy and fed the hungry. It was called "charity"!
Church missionaries travel the world helping the needy.
We each look at things from a different frame of reference, non-religious people seem to believe that religious people are bullying by fighting against the removal of everything religious from our society. I see bullying by the ACLU demanding that everything religious be removed from society.
Thank God we live in America and still have the freedom to disagree, even within our chosen party.

Boycott Media for 7 days
Back in the late sixties, I was immersed in fighting bussing in Pontiac Mich.
The Pontiac newspaper, (I think it was called the Free Press) was as leftist back then as the newspapers are today. We only got the black or left side of the bussing fight.
I was one of the original organizers of a group called “NAG” or National Action Group, eventually headed up by Irene McCabe. We COULD NOT get our side of the issue in front of the complacent masses. We went door to door, trying to get the word out that bussing was going to happen, but we were not believed. People laughed at us. We had regular meetings to plan strategies but at the most, we would get about 20 people to show up. All thought that the idea of bussing was so ridiculous that it could not happen. They believed that the courts would rule against it!
Well, as you know, it did happen! The following meeting, (after the judicial decision to allow bussing), became a frenzy of hundreds of concerned parents showing up at our little meeting place. There was no room for so many angry citizens! We needed to find a larger meeting place but it was too late!
There were fights in the mixed schools, angry parents, mobs, attacks on us and attacks in the schools against our children. It was awful and the newspapers made it sound like a racial situation instead of an issue of putting our little children on a bus and sending them miles from their homes. Not many couples had 2 cars back then, so if your little one got sick or forgot lunch, too bad.
My husband and I rented our home based on the school system and the fact that I could stand at the end of our block and watch my baby girl walk to kindergarten.
NAG got so frustrated at the lack of news on our side of the issue that we took drastic steps. We boycotted the newspaper. The word spread like wild fire to stop the paper until they agreed to tell our side on the front page. We also picketed and many would not cross the picket line.
After about a week or two, (that was a long time ago and my old brain just can’t remember specific details), the newspaper came to NAG and asked what we wanted to get the presses rolling again. We said we wanted equal time with the NAACP and black leaders.
(By the way, some of the “leaders” back then, arousing anger and attacks were Dick Gregory, Bill Cosby (!) and Martin Luther King!)
The newspaper caved to our demands and put a dividing color line down the center of the front page, (I cannot remember if it was red or green) and put both sides of the issue and we released the boycott.
The reason I am relating this story to you is to let you know the value of a boycott. I think we would cause a major problem for our local newspapers if we put our subscriptions on vacation-hold for 7 days, November 23-November 30th. Just think, that is during the biggest advertizing time of the year! Remember, November 27th is the biggest shopping day of the year!
Many people, including my husband, enjoy the sports and local events so they do not want to stop their local newspapers for good but maybe if we hurt them at a crucial time they would wake up to the unfairness of their left wing agenda and start vetting lefty’s that the Pompous POTUS is surrounding himself with. Maybe the thrills up their legs at the sight of him would send shivers down their spines when all advertizing went away!
Please, put your news papers on vacation for just seven important days, November 23rd through November 30th!!!!
Hmmm, lets add ABC,NBC,CBS AND CNN!!!!!!!
